I’m a ‘40-is-the-new-20′ country wife who happened to grow up in the big city just down the street from Bing Crosby. I led a rather colorful life in my youth - a wild, nomadic journey that included stints as a dancer, a model, a wardrobe girl for an 80’s hair band, a production assistant for Michael Jackson…I even appeared in a few music videos.
Then one day, while working production for a concert in Dallas, I met and fell head-over-heels in love with a heavy metal rocker who turned out to be a country boy at heart.

After years of touring with my redneck rock star the hick in him finally won over so he decided to give it all up and move us to the country. We settled in Boonieville, population 600, with deer, rabbits, hogs and snakes as our neighbors (yikes!)….but ya know what? I’ve never been happier!
Being so far from civilization there wasn’t what you’d call a ‘booming’ job market nearby, so I had to come up with a creative way to earn a living from my house. I grabbed the laptop and a cup of coffee and began my search.
three years later…
Three years and countless scams later I finally found my dream job (much to my husband’s relief; he was gettin’ real tired of my belly-achin’!). But what was I going to do with the three years’ worth of research piled up in the corner of my office? No way was I going to just throw it out - that pile represented all the blood, sweat and tears I put into finding all those legitimate home-based jobs. Besides, most of those opportunities were unadvertised and really difficult to locate.
As I was staring at the pile pondering what to do, my dear hubby suggested using it to write an ebook. Eureka! Make all those hidden opportunities easily available to everyone! And so The GoGreen Guide© was born.

Once I began writing I quickly realized I would only be able to include a small number of the hundreds of jobs I had collected, so I created this site to list the ones I had to leave out. The site quickly grew into a companion, or complement, to the ebook.
I hope my ebook and web site will help you realize your work-from-home dream. I created both with the intent that they save you the grief I experienced while searching for a REAL home-based job. If I did it, you can too!
